Julie McCarthy holds a degree in Interior Design from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Certificate in Health Care Design from NYU. She has practiced Interior Design since 1975 and has been published nationally and internationally. In 1994 Julie was the only Interior Designer appointed to a federally funded panel at Monmouth University studying the socio-economic effects of ageism. Julie has broad experience in Health Care and Hospitality design and specializes in design for dementia diseases.

   Prior to the formation of McCarthy Associates, Jack McCarthy directed sales, marketing and product development for several of the major textile companies including Burlington Ind. and Dan River Mills. Jack has broad experience in finding and developing 'problem solving' products, and planning and developing budgets for overall furniture requirements for refurbish and new construction projects.
